Once upon a time there lived a poor farmer in a small village named Trilochanpur. He was worked hard every day. One evening, he found a bag of gold while he was travelling towards market. It had fallen from the king’s carriage. The farmer when saw the weight of the bag he thought about keeping it. But he knew it wasn’t his.
He took the bag to the kings palace. The king was surprised by his honesty. You could have kept it, the king said. But it was not mine, the farmer replied. The king smiled called farmer to its palace and informed his minister to reward whatever he wants.
Minister asked the farmer what does he want. Farmer told I need land instead of gold and minister rewarded him with land. The farmer’s honesty changed his life.
